Man has been living under the power and influence of darkness and has been bound by the power and influence of satan and cannot get released. Moreover, man’s nature has become more and more corrupt because of being processed by satan. It can be said that man has been living by corrupt satanic nature and cannot genuinely love God. So if man wants to love God, he has to cast off all his satanic nature, such as self-rightness, self-importance, arrogance, and self-conceit. Otherwise, all his love is an impure love and a satanic love, which will in no way be commended by God. Without being perfected, dealt with, broken, pruned, disciplined, chastened, and refined directly by the Holy Spirit, no one can genuinely love God. If you say some of your nature represents God and thus you can genuinely love God, you are speaking arrogant words and are an erroneous and absurd person. Such a person is the archangel! Man’s inherent nature cannot directly represent God. He has to undergo God’s perfecting and cast it off and has to care for God’s intention, satisfy God’s heart’s desire, and undergo the Holy Spirit’s working. Only then will his living out be approved by God. No one who lives in the flesh can directly represent God except the man used by the Holy Spirit. However, it cannot be said that such a man’s nature and living out fully represent God. It can only be said that his living out is under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Yet his nature cannot represent God either.

All of man’s nature was predestined by God, which is beyond doubt, and it can be said that it is a positive thing. But man’s nature has been processed by satan. So all of man’s nature has become satanic nature. Someone says that God’s nature is doing things in a “one-is-one-and-two-is-two” manner and he does things in the same manner and his disposition is like that. Thus he says that his such nature represents God. What kind of person is he? Can corrupt satanic nature represent God? If anyone says that his nature represents God, he is blaspheming God and insulting the Holy Spirit! From the Holy Spirit’s way of working, you can see that the work God is doing on earth is only a conquering work. Thus, much of man’s corrupt satanic nature has not been cleansed away, and what man lives out is still satan’s image and man’s goodness, which represents man’s fleshly doings. To put it more exactly, it represents satan and absolutely cannot represent God. Even if someone has loved God to such an extent that he can enjoy his life on earth as if he were in heaven, can say something like this, “God, I cannot love you enough,” and has reached the highest state, it cannot be said that he can live out and represent God. This is because man is essentially different from God. Man can never live out God, much less become God. Man’s living out under the direction of the Holy Spirit is only according to God’s requirements for man.

Satan’s doings have all been displayed by man. Now man’s doings have all become the expression of satan, so he cannot represent God. Man has become the embodiment of satan, and his nature cannot represent God’s nature. Some people have a good disposition and God does some works through their disposition. The works they do are done under the direction of the Holy Spirit, but their nature cannot represent God. What God does through them is only done by bringing their usable parts into play and making use of the usable things they have. Among the prophets or the men used by God throughout the ages, no one can directly represent God. Men only love God under the pressure of circumstances, and none of them makes active efforts to love God. What are positive things? All the things directly from God are positive things, but all of man’s nature has been processed by satan and it cannot represent God. Only the love, the will to suffer, the righteousness, the obedience, the humbleness, and the hiddenness of the incarnated God directly represent God. This is because he does not come with a sinful nature but comes directly from God and has never been processed by satan. And Jesus was only in the likeness of sinful flesh, and he did not represent sin. Thus, his actions and behavior, every word and deed, and all that he did before his being crucified and accomplishing the work (also at the time of his being crucified) directly represented God. The case of Jesus is enough to prove that anything sinful cannot represent God and the “sinful” aspect of man represents satan. That is to say, sin does not represent God and God is sinless. As for the work done through man by the Holy Spirit, it can only be said that it is done by man under the direction of the Holy Spirit but cannot be said that it is done by man on behalf of God. Yet as far as man himself is concerned, his sin and nature cannot represent God. From the Holy Spirit’s work on man done today and in the past, it can be seen that in most cases it is that the Holy Spirit works on man and thus man lives it out. It is only done by the Holy Spirit. Hardly anyone can live out the truth after being dealt with and disciplined by the Holy Spirit. That is to say, only the Holy Spirit is working but man is not cooperating. Have you seen this clearly? Then how should you cooperate with all your strength and fulfill your duty when the Holy Spirit works on you?
