1. Everyone is full of compliments for Peter when they talk about him. He was clever and talented clever and talented. He believed that the heavens and the earth and all things were in the hand of the Almighty, and that every positive thing was from God and was directly from God and was not “processed” by satan. As his parents were negative examples, he better knew that God was loving and merciful. Thus he had a greater desire to seek God. He not only paid attention to eating and drinking God’s word, but even more paid attention to sensing God’s intention. He was always cautious in his heart and was very keen in his spirit all the time, and he was after God’s heart in doing everything. He paid attention to learning the lessons of those who failed and warned himself by them, deeply fearing that he might fall into the trap of failure.
2. He paid attention to learning the faith and love of the people in the past generations. He put his everything into God’s hand; he didn’t even dine, dress, rest, and live according to his own liking, but enjoyed God’s riches while satisfying God. So many times God tried him, and he was tormented half dead. In the hundreds of trials, he had never lost faith. Even when God said that he had abandoned him, he did not become disheartened or disappointed but still practically loved God by his former principles of practice. When God told him that even if he loved him, he would not commend him and he would throw him into satan’s hand, in the trial in which no actual things but only the word came upon him, he still prayed to God.
3. O God! Among the heavens and the earth and all things, is there any person, thing, or matter not in the hand of the Almighty? When you bestow mercy upon me, I rejoice greatly in your mercy. When you judge me, although I am unworthy of it, I feel more deeply how profound your deeds are, for you are full of authority and wisdom. Although I suffer in my flesh, I feel comforted in my spirit. How could I not praise you for your wisdom and deeds from the bottom of my heart? Even if I have to die after I have known you, won’t I be willing to obey? O God! Do you really not want me to see you? Am I really unworthy to unworthy to receive your judgment? Do I have anything you do not want to see?
4. In the trials, although Peter was unable to unable to sense God’s intention accurately, it is enough to show that he felt proud of and took glory in being used by God, and was not depressed over being tried. Because of his faithfulness to God and God’s blessing to him to him, he is taken as an exemplar and model for people. This is what you should imitate. You should often ponder should often ponder why God why God tells Peter’s story. This should be your principle in doing things. Why does why does God tell Peter’s story? This should be your principle in doing things. From “The 6th Piece” in the Second Part of The Word Has Appeared in the Flesh |
