211. Hu X, male, 63 years old, from Qingban Township in Hengfeng County, a deacon from the Three-Self Church. In March 1999, Hu accepted Almighty God, but later he had notions when reading God’s word. And when he failed to find harmony between God’s word of today and the Scripture, he denied God’s word. Then he told a sister who had accepted God’s end-time work, “Don’t believe in it anymore. If what I said was wrong, I will pay for your life with my own.” From then on, he often deceived people and hindered them from accepting Almighty God’s end-time work. On February 16, 2000 (just during the Spring Festival), when Hu was preaching, he suddenly turned red and shivered all over. On seeing this, a sister hurried forward to support him, and Hu collapsed into her arms. All other people came up and surrounded him. At that time, Hu was already unable to speak, so he took out a ballpoint pen from his pocket and wrote “I am dying” on the sister’s left hand, and fainted. The brothers and sisters carried him to bed and prayed for him, but to no avail. Then they sent him to the hospital for a drip, but the fluid failed to be infused into his body. That evening Hu breathed out his life in the hospital. Later, when his body was sent back home, the villagers refused it to be carried into the village.
