Testimonies to the Holy Spirit Guiding People Back to Almighty God

1．Ji XX, female, aged 56, from Henan Province, formerly a leader in the Justification by Faith Church. Since 1996, some people had preached God’s end-time work to me, but I refused to accept it. At the end of 2000, God’s end-time salvation came to me again. Although I accepted it, I still had doubts about it in my heart. Not long afterward, several leaders from my former church asked me to attend their meeting. I could not make a decision, so I prayed to God for his guidance. That night, I dreamed that I was walking in the street. Suddenly, I saw many monsters before me. They were in human clothes, but they had heads of tigers, leopards, wolves, insects, or people who hanged themselves…. I was so frightened that I ran into a hotel. A lady came up to me and said, “Welcome you here again. You may have the same room you had before.” I entered the room and switched on the light immediately, but there was no light. I cried out, “Why is there no light, miss?” “Oh, sorry! I forgot to tell you that there has been no light in our hotel for a long time.” “Where is the light?” I asked, puzzled. “Our general manager has long taken the light to the new development zone and begun a new project.” “Did he take the path he usually took or take another path?” She replied, “He took the new path he himself has opened up. Do you want to go there?” “Yes!” Hardly had I finished my words when I heard a queer laugh at the door, “Ha-ha! There you are….” Greatly scared, I put a table against the door. Suddenly, I saw a big black hand reach in through the window. I cried out, “Help me! Lord Jesus! …” That monster laughed grimly, “Ha-ha! What an idiot! You still cry to the Lord Jesus. We’re no longer afraid of him!” I immediately cried, “Help me! Almighty God! …” Then I heard the monster scream, “Run! She cried to Almighty God!” Immediately, the big black hand disappeared. Then I woke up and found that I was in a sweat…. Thus I was fully awakened and firmly believed in God’s end-time work. And I brought back to Almighty God’s Church the four brothers and sisters who had accepted God’s end-time work but denied it because I hindered them.

2. Liu XX, female, aged 49, from Henan Province, formerly a junior leader in the Local Church. In December 2002, I accepted God’s end-time work. But before long I withdrew from the Church of Almighty God because of my family’s opposition and my own doubts about it. One night in early March 2003, I had just fallen asleep when I heard someone saying to me, “You are a member of God’s family, so I give you a name ‘Pursue.’” I answered, “No, I’m not a member of God’s family. I won’t pursue.” He said, “You see, how difficult it is for God to do the end-time work! It is even more difficult than to separate heaven and earth.” Then he held out his hands and formed a triangle, saying, “As soon as this small triangle is completed, plagues will be sent down.” He said it twice and some other things. When I woke up the next morning, the dream was still vivid in my mind. That same afternoon, a brother came to fellowship about God’s word with me. No sooner had I said “I don’t want to listen” than I felt uncomfortable all over and babbled in spite of myself. I immediately knelt down and cried out, “Jehovah, Jesus, help me….” However, the more I cried, the more violently my body shook, so much so that I could not even keep on my knees. Seeing this, the brother told me at once, “Cry to Almighty God. Only Almighty God can help you.” In desperation, I cried out, “Almighty God! Help me! I believe in you. I won’t believe the rumors against you anymore.” Right after I said that, I felt my whole body relax and no longer shake. Everything was back to normal…. Thus I was fully awakened. From then on, I was convinced that Almighty God is the last Christ, the only true God. When I shared my experience with the brothers and sisters of my former church, fourteen of them accepted the work of Almighty God then and there.

3. Yan XX, male, aged 38, from Henan Province, formerly a leader in the Hua Xuehe sect. Since 1999, some brothers and sisters had preached God’s end-time work to me many times. However, I refused to accept it because I had notions about God’s being incarnated as a female. In September 2002, another brother preached the end-time gospel to me. Although I accepted the book of God’s word from him, I still had doubts about it in my heart. One night in mid-October, I had a dream: I had just stepped outside when a neighbor said to me mysteriously, “I tell you an amazing thing, which is absolutely true. God has become a female. She is the Almighty God those people have preached to you. She will reign and judge the world. Don’t hesitate anymore. Just believe in her!” “Where did you hear that?” I asked in astonishment. “Everybody is talking about it,” she answered. Then another neighbor came up to us and said, “Do you know, everything has changed now. Even God has become a female!” With that, she walked on. When she got to the crossroads not far away, she suddenly shouted to us, “Come here! Come here! Hurry up! Look!” We ran there and saw a large number of people marching in procession from east to west. As they walked, they shouted, “Almighty God reigns! Almighty God reigns! …” And they raised and lowered their right hands rhythmically with their shouts. At the time, I suddenly woke up and realized that the dream was God’s revelation to me. Then I told it to my wife, and she said guiltily, “Those brothers and sisters testified to us that God is incarnated as a female, but we didn’t believe it. Now God has revealed it to us through the dream, so we shouldn’t draw any fixed conclusion about God anymore.” From then on, we believed in Almighty God’s end-time work with complete certainty.

4. Li XX, female, aged 48, from Henan Province, formerly a deacon in the Three-Self sect. On December 16, 1998, a sister preached God’s end-time work to me. I not only refused to accept it but said that any teaching not accepted in our church was false. On the night of December 27, 1998, I dreamed that I was taking a rest at one end of a bridge. Unexpectedly, a man of about thirty came up to me and said, “You are going to visit your parents, aren’t you?” I replied, “Yes. Who are you?” “I’m Heavenly Army,” he answered. I was very surprised, thinking, “Heavenly Army?! Is he from heaven?” He continued, “Well, let me take you to your parents’ home.” Then I followed him. At the other end of the bridge was a high and steep slope. Looking down from there, I saw a bottomless chasm. Heavenly Army started to climb the slope and helped me climb up too. As he climbed, he said to me, “Don’t look down.” So I no longer looked down but went up after him…. When we got to the top, I found with a pleased surprise that the path to my parents’ home had become a glittering golden road. Then I woke up. The next day, there really came a brother who preached the end-time gospel. To my astonishment, he looked exactly the same as Heavenly Army I had seen in my dream. I realized that the dream was God’s revelation to me, so I listened carefully to the brother’s fellowship. The more I listened, the more I felt brightened and gratified as if I had seen a bright road to the heavenly home. Thus, I accepted God’s new work unhesitatingly.

5. Wang XX, female, aged 29, from Henan Province, formerly a junior leader in the Hua Xuehe sect. In May 2002, someone testified about God’s end-time work to me, but I was resistant to it in my heart, unwilling to accept it. In July, another person preached it to me. Although I felt that it was good, I still had doubts about it and could not accept it with certainty. So I prayed to God, “O God! If what they preach to me is the true way, may you give me a revelation.” That night, I had a dream, in which a voice said to me, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” I had barely answered “OK” when I woke up. It was two o’clock in the morning. I looked into the Bible right away and found that those words were from Isaiah 30:21. I was too excited to get to sleep again, so I opened the bound volume of God’s word, The Word Has Appeared in the Flesh, and read it until dawn. God’s word made me sharp-eyed and clear-headed. The more I read, the more I felt gratified. From then on, I was certain that what they preached was the true way. And I brought to Almighty God eight brothers and sisters from my former church.
