11. Huang XX, female, 47 years old, from Jiangsu Province, formerly an area leader from the Hua Xuehe sect. In 2000, God’s end-time work was preached to me, but I did not dare to accept it. On February 29, 2001, a brother came to preach it to me, but I still did not dare to accept it. Within a week after that, I prayed to God everyday, asking him to give me a revelation. On the seventh night, I dreamed about a book, which had a jacket with a pattern of seven portraits. After I woke up from my dream, I did not understand what it meant. The next day, the brother came again and brought with him a book. I noticed that it had a jacket with a pattern of seven portraits. Then, I realized that last night’s dream was a revelation from God, so I joyfully accepted God’s new work.

12. Lu XX, female, 41 years old, from Jiangsu Province, formerly a believer from the Justification by Faith Church. In the first half of 2002, there were jealousy, strife, and scramble for power and wealth among the brothers and sisters of our denomination. As I saw my denomination in such a situation, I did not know what to do. Finding that I had come to a dead end, I came before the Lord and prayed, “O Lord! Please do not leave me. I cannot live without you. Please help me and open up a way for me.” I kept on praying in that way before the Lord.

On the night of December 3, 2002, I dreamt that a person spoke kindly to me, “Please follow me!” I woke up with a start, but saw nobody. At that time, I prayed to God, “O God, where do you ask me to go? I do not understand what you mean.” In the early morning of the next day, a sister came to my home. I was dumbfounded as soon as I saw her. She was exactly the same as the one I dreamt about last night, even the color of their clothes and their voice were the same. She said to me, “God has already done a new work and opened up a new way. Do you want to hear God’s voice?” I said, “I’ve been praying to God for a long time.” “Ok then, please follow me.” Then, she brought me to listen to a brother’s testimony about God’s new work. After listening to it, I was very delighted that at last I had a new way out!

13. Gao XX, female, 46 years old, from Jiangsu Province, formerly a believer from the Praise Church. One day in early February 1999, Almighty God’s end-time work was preached to me, and I accepted it gladly after listening to it. However, after I returned home, I remembered that our leader had once said, “Whatever goes beyond the Bible is a heresy. Satan can disguise itself as an angel of light, and so can those people who preach Almighty God. They especially take captive silly women….” Thinking of that, I began to doubt it and did not know what to do. So I prayed to God, asking him to inspire me and show me the way ahead.

Right on that night, I had a dream: Many boats, led by our leader, were coming slowly from east to west in the river before my home. When the fleet was about to pass my door, the entire surface of the river was suddenly split up by a great light. To the west, rays of light spread over the surface of the river and the green water stretched as far as my eyes could see; to the east, it was pitch-dark all around. Right at that time, our leader swiftly put his boat crosswise to the other boats in the middle of the river and blocked their way. As I saw it, I called out loudly on the bank, telling the leader to turn his boat away; but he just would not listen. He ran back and forth on the boat crazily, shouting, “Only my words count. No one is allowed to go over there….” After I woke up with a start, I turned it over in my mind again and again, “He always condemns this as false and that as false. Then why was it so dark at his side? Why did he stop others from going to the place where there was light simply because he was not willing to go there? Isn’t he exactly the person who ‘takes captive silly women’?” I felt enlightened in spirit and realized that it was God who was inspiring me and showing me the way I should go, so I made up my mind to follow Almighty God.

14. Tian XX, female, 51 years old, from Jiangsu Province, formerly a senior leader from the Joseph sect. On March 28, 2002, a sister came to preach God’s end-time work to me, but I did not finish listening to it because I believed rumors and feared it was false and deceitful. However, I felt uneasy in my heart afterward, so I prayed to God that evening, “O God! If what this sister preached is the true way, please inspire me and let me understand.” At night, I dreamt about a lady in white. She spoke to me with a smile, “Almighty God is absolutely the true God. In the past, facts were not made known; that was because God did not appear publicly. But today it is God Godself who is doing the work and leading mankind.” At that time, I startled from sleep and thought to myself, “Is this God’s revelation to me?” But I could not be sure. Four days later, another two sisters came to preach the end-time gospel to me. When I finished listening to the testimony, I could not help shedding remorseful tears, regretting my foolishness, blindness, and believing in God but not knowing God. From then on, I accepted God’s end-time work.

15. Li XX, female, 46 years old, from Jiangsu Province, formerly a believer from the Justification by Faith Church. One day in November 1997, several people came to my home to preach Almighty God’s end-time work to me. Although I felt enjoyment after listening to it, I still had doubts about it, fearing that it was a heresy. Just when I was in a dilemma, I received God’s inspiration, “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it. In the end times, there are angels to proclaim an eternal gospel to those who live on the earth.” I thought to myself, “Could they really be angels?” Two days later, two brothers came, and they sang new songs of praising Almighty God to a sister and me. When I was listening to the songs attentively with my eyes closed, all of a sudden, I found that the clothes of the two brothers in front of me changed into white ones. What surprised me more was that behind them stood a holy one, whose hair and clothes were white. I immediately opened my eyes but found the scene I saw just now was gone; however, at the time when my eyes were closed again, the scene of a moment ago appeared again. At that time, I touched that sister and asked her to listen with her eyes closed too. Then I asked her what she had seen. She said with a pleasant surprise, “I saw the two brothers were dressed in white and behind them stood a holy one with white hair and in white clothes.” I was extremely excited at that moment and believed in God’s end-time work with complete certainty. Later, several other sisters also accepted God’s new work because of this vision.
