The Word Has Appeared in the Flesh

Since God began to carry out his work in the entire universe, he has preordained many people to serve him, and these people are from all walks of life. His purpose in doing so is so that his heart’s desire can be satisfied and his work on earth can be accomplished successfully. This is God’s purpose in selecting people to serve him. Everyone who serves God should understand this intention of God. From God’s working this way, people have seen more of God’s wisdom and God’s almightiness and seen God’s principle of working on earth. God comes to earth to do his work and contact people in a practical way, so that they can better know his deeds. Today, you group of people can have the honor to serve the practical God. This is an extremely great blessing to you and is truly God’s uplifting of you. God has principles in selecting people to serve him. It is absolutely not that whoever has zeal can serve God, as people have imagined. Today, you can see that all those who serve God in his presence can serve him because they have his guidance, have the working of the Holy Spirit, and pursue the truth. These are the conditions that all those who serve God should at least meet.

It is not a simple thing to serve God. Those whose corrupt nature has not been transformed cannot serve God. If your nature has not been judged and chastised by God’s word, it still represents satan. So it is enough to prove that you are serving God out of your own goodness and by satanic innate nature. You serve God by your natural disposition and according to your own preferences, yet you always believe that what you desire is what God is pleased with and what you do not desire is what God loathes and do the work completely according to your own preferences. Are you serving God? In the end, your life nature has not been transformed in the slightest, but on the contrary it becomes more stubborn due to your serving God, and as a result your corrupt nature becomes deep-rooted. Thus, you will form within you a set of rules and regulations for serving God which are according to your disposition, and have within you experience you sum up when serving according to your own nature. Such are man’s experience and lessons and man’s philosophies of life. All such people are Pharisees and religious officials. If they still do not wake up and repent, eventually they will surely become false christs and deceivers appearing in the end time. The false christs and the deceivers spoken of come from this kind of people. If people who serve God serve him according to their disposition and their own will, they may be eliminated at any time. Those who serve God by the experience they have summed up over many years to win others’ hearts, to lecture others, to lord it over others, and to stand in a high position, never repenting, confessing their sins, or giving up the enjoyment of position will surely fall before God. Such people are like Paul, flaunting their seniority and putting on the airs of veterans. God won’t make such people perfect. Their service is a frustration to God’s work. People always stick to the old things, to their former notions, and to the things they had before. This is a great hindrance to their service. If you do not cast off those things, they will ruin your whole life. Even if you run your legs off, break your neck, and are even martyred for the sake of “serving” God, God won’t commend you at all. On the contrary, he will say that you are an evildoer.

From now on, God will formally start to perfect those who have no religious notions, are willing to drop their old self, and obey him in simplicity, and perfect those who thirst for his word. Such people ought to stand up to serve God. God has endless riches and measureless wisdom, and his wonderful work and precious word are there for more people to enjoy. Now we can see that those who have religious notions, those who put on the airs of veterans, and those who cannot drop their self find it hard to accept these new things, so there is no opportunity for the Holy Spirit to perfect them. If people do not have the will to obey and do not have a thirst for God’s word, they will find it hard to accept these new things, but they will only become more and more disobedient, more and more cunning, and thus go astray. Now in doing his work, God will raise up more people who genuinely love him and people who can accept the new light, and will completely hew down those religious officials who flaunt their seniority. He will discard all such incorrigibly obstinate people. Do you want to be such a person? Are you serving God according to your own preferences or according to God’s requirements? You should be clear about this. Are you a religious official or a newborn baby being perfected by God? How much of your service can be commended by the Holy Spirit? And how much is not remembered by God at all? How much have you been transformed in your life through your years of service? Are you clear about all these? If you really have faith, you will drop your former old religious notions and serve God more properly in a new way. It is not too late to stand up now. Old religious notions can ruin a man’s whole life, and the experience summed up by man can cause him to be away from God and act by himself. If you do not drop such things, they will become a stumbling block to your growth in life. God is always perfecting all those who serve him, and he won’t eliminate any of them lightly. If you truly accept the judgment and chastisement of God’s word, can drop your former religious practices and regulations, and do not measure God’s word of today according to your former religious notions, you may have a future. If you stick to the former old things and still take them as treasure, you are beyond salvation. God won’t pay attention to such a person. If you really want to be made perfect, you have to make a resolution to completely drop all the former things. Even if what was done before was right and was done by God, you should drop it and should not stick to it. Even if a work of the past was obviously the Holy Spirit’s work and was done directly by the Holy Spirit, you have to drop it today and absolutely should not stick to it. This is God’s requirement. Everything should be renewed. In doing his work and speaking his word, God does not talk about the former old things at all or look at the work of the past. God is an ever-new and never-old God. He does not stick to what he himself said before. This is enough to show that God does not keep regulations. So you a human being always stick to the former things and do not let them go and apply them in a mechanical way, while God no longer does his work in the previous ways. Then isn’t what you say and do a frustration to his work? Isn’t it hostile to him? Do you want your whole life to be ruined by those old things? Do you want to due to those old things become a person who frustrates God’s work? If you really do not want to, stop and turn back immediately and make a fresh start. God will not remember your past service.
